Skateboarding For Everyone

A Community Interest Company.

Skateboarding for everyone.

What we do…

Two Toed Skateboards is a not-for-profit organisation serving the skateboarding community of Suffolk and the wider East Anglia area. Our purpose is to increase access to skateboarding for people of all ages, genders, backgrounds and abilities, including those from disadvantaged circumstances who may otherwise face barriers to participation.

We support both newcomers and established skaters by creating safe, welcoming spaces to learn, progress and connect. Through structured tuition, the development and protection of skate spaces, and the celebration of local skate culture, we aim to promote physical wellbeing, strengthen confidence and resilience, and foster a culture rooted in creativity, mutual respect and shared ownership.

Any surplus generated is reinvested into the company’s work or directed towards charitable purposes in line with our community interest commitment.

We work to strengthen the local skateboarding community by creating opportunities for connection, recognition and progression. Through events, we celebrate skateboarding, showcase local talent and provide inclusive competitive opportunities, while also highlighting the wider creative aspects of skate culture such as art and music.

We aim to reduce barriers to entry by providing access to essential equipment where needed. Alongside this, we actively promote the physical, mental and social benefits of skateboarding, helping to challenge misconceptions and encourage broader participation across the community.

Support and Build Skateboarding Culture

Safe Skate Opportunities

Accessible, well-maintained skate spaces are essential for safe participation. We support year-round skating by hosting indoor sessions during winter months and advocating for the maintenance of existing facilities to ensure they remain safe and usable.

We also collaborate with local authorities and partners to contribute to the development of new skate spaces, designed with skaters in mind. In addition, we recognise the importance of DIY skate spaces and seek to protect and legitimise them where possible, supporting community ownership and expanding local opportunities to skate.

Offer and Provide Skateboarding Tuition

We deliver structured skateboarding tuition through both paid and funded sessions, ensuring access for those who may otherwise face barriers to participation. Sessions support beginners to learn safely and confidently, while also helping more experienced skaters refine skills and progress.

Tuition takes place at local indoor and outdoor skateparks, at community events, and in partnership with schools, clubs and community organisations. Working within familiar and supportive environments increases confidence, promotes safe practice and encourages consistent use of local facilities.
