Woodbridge Skatepark - IP12 4AW
located behind the leisure centre gym/pool. A very mellow and approachable park with no ramps above 4ft in size. no specific seating apart from curbs but is surrounded by a public car park (pay & Display).

Beginner Group Lessons - Info
These Group lessons are perfect to get you on a board even if you've never skated before! During a beginner sessions we mainly focus on the basics, Overall this is with the aim to build up independent skaters and work towards your own Skateboard GB Cruisers award. We would cover things such as:
Board control
Safety
Confidence
stance
Pushing
turning
ramp riding
basic tricks
dropping in
that isn't everything we might teach but hopefully this helps get the gist of what we would cover, by doing so should earn you the cruisers award and have you ready for our Improvers sessions.
If you aren't sure if the beginners sessions is right for you, then ask yourself if you can do these listed points by yourself. if you still arent sure, then just get in touch and we can assist.
Improver Group Lessons - Info
For students who may have worked their way up to the Improvers lesson, you should have already earned your Skateboard GB Cruisers award.
For the improvers lessons we already expect you to be able to control the board by yourself and be confident in the basics. We then move on to the wide variety of skills and tricks that you can learn in skating, so it's difficult to give any sort of list of what could be covered.
we expect you to be able to at least do the following confidently:
Push / Ride / Turn
Drop in
Ride ramps
land basic tricks like an Ollie
Guided Skate - Info
This is an opportunity for both skaters and parents to feel comfortable at a public skatepark to skate by themselves, but not be in a lesson. This is not a lesson. We may give some tips, guidance or encouragement but this is aimed to bring each skaters independence at the skatepark.
We will be there as a responsible adult to look out for our skaters. make sure they are aware of skatepark etiquette, provide drinks or board maintenance assistance, and in worst case scenario to provide first aid treatment.
Children can be left with our Safeguard trained and DBS checked coaches for this duration if wanted, in peace of mind that your child will be looked after.
1 - 1 Lessons - Info
If you feel like maybe group lessons arent for you, you have some specific goals in mind, or benefit more from 1-1 learning then we have x2 slots of 1-1 lessons that can take place after the guided skate. Here we can literally work with you and go through whatever it is you want.
